Running Man is exported to nine countries in Asia



According SBS on the 10th, its program Running Man has been exported to nine Asian countries: Taiwan, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Cambodia, confirming its popularity.

Now, Running Man is airing in those nine countries.

A representative from SBS Contents Hub which proceeded in exporting the programs said, “People from abroad are showing as much interest in Running Man as Koreans. Europe, on the other hand, is also showing its interest in Korean programs such as Running Man, Strong Heart, and Inkigayo, as it is already attracted to K-pop culture.”

“Some countries which import only special features of Running Man are considering importing all the episodes. Now they are in the process of revising over it.”

More fun is added to Running Man as its main cast is building its unique characters. Yoo Jae Suk is known as “Yoo Hyuk” or “Yoo-ruce Willis,” Ji Suk Jin as “Great-nose brother,” Kim Jong Kook as “The Unbeatable,” Haha as “Ha-roro,” Gary as “Ji Hyo’s boyfriend only for Mondays,” Lee Kwang Soo as “Kwang-vatar,” and Song Ji Hyo as “Blank Ji Hyo.”
